About Me
Gaffer | 2nd Unit DOP
I'm a Toronto-based Gaffer and 2nd Unit Director of Photography with more than thirty years in film and television. My work spans network series, features, indie films, and made-for-TV productions.

I've had the chance to learn from some incredible cinematographers and I'm fortunate to call Jeremy Benning, David Moxness, Mike McMurray, Jimmy Lindsey, and Pierre Gill my mentors.
Over the years, I’ve built a reputation as a dependable collaborator, skilled chief lighting technician, and trusted operator known for steady leadership on demanding shoots.
That dual experience, working both as gaffer and DOP, means I can move seamlessly between roles, helping productions maintain pace and visual continuity when second or splinter units are running.

In 2017, I helped set up one of Canada’s first LED Wall Studios for William F. White, and I bring that LED expertise along with a high-tech gaffer kit to every project.
I focus on keeping shoots running smoothly and maintaining a calm, collaborative atmosphere where directors, actors, and crew can do their best work. For upcoming projects that call for experience and a steady hand, please get in touch.
